Counseling Therapy Helping Kids, Families, Couples & LGBTQ

Hi and congratulations on taking this important step in seeking counseling for the struggles you are facing. I believe each person's depression and anxietylife and needs are unique, and see my role as helping people find the best path for them and their families.

I know seeking therapy can sometimes be difficult. For over 25 years, I have focused on counseling kids and families to improve behavior and relationships, and in addressing issues of substance abuse, addiction and sexual orientation in kids and adults. I am committed to helping people in my community have a better life. I am non-judgmental, warm, dynamic and authentic. I want people to feel heard, understood, safe, and cared for in the sometimes scary, and often liberating, process of growth.

We will use a variety of tools, to explore what is not working for you, enhance what is working for you, and determine what you want to do differently. I feel strongly about helping families and couples, especially LGBT couples, improve their relationships by addressing the conflict and struggles they are facing. I help kids and parents feel accepted, couples to reconnect and find each other again, and to make home and family a safety net for growth and feeling good about themselves and each other. If you or someone you love is struggling with issues of substance abuse and other addictions, depression and anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity, self-esteem, anger management or concerns related to sexual identity or gender, I can provide the accepting environment to explore these issues.

It's always a good time & never to late to seek out someone to talk. Call me & I'd be happy to see how I can help.
